polio arm and withered leg

buy-now-goldKarla’s Right hand hangs uselessly upside down, the fingers are open and thin from never moving. Her arm is thin and can move very little.

Her polio leg is thin and drags when she walks when she is tired. On those days it is impossible for her to take a step and lift her foot off the ground. Instead, it can be heard dragging on the floor with every step she makes.

Karla is challenged to show her walk this day and to show how little use her right hand is by applying cream to her withered leg and then trying so hard to put on a pair of nylons using the floppy hand to help guide the nylon up the leg.
